Process: Sound

June 2015 - Present

In Process, we make, with no particular end game; we set limits on editing and re-working — all in order to strip away excessive rumination and create proper mind-space for the next work.

For us, this near-daily activity allows for progress. Each piece represents (1) a period of creative meditation — a short burst (~1 hour) of immersion & expression and (2) an exercise in surrender — crafting, then letting go. Both are good countermeasures to our otherwise result-obsessed-focussed mentalities.

These works are responses to one another: an image is created, then music as a response. Or vice versa. An attempt to craft a dialogue between the visual and the auditory: creating a sensory experience for the viewer.
